A couple of quick notes...

Special thanks go out to ChristianPF.com -- a really great personal finance blog! I recently was randomly selected in a contest that they had for a brand new copy of The World’s Easiest Guide to Finances by Larry Burkett and Randy Southern. Thanks a ton! I'll look forward to reading it!

I'm having a {insert name of home sales company that apparently doesn't want me to talk about them online} catalog party. If anybody would like to place an order, drop me an email. (I really want some new pans, so I'm taking advantage of the February hostess special to get them -- I'm pretty excited!)

Next week, I plan to post some pictures and my thought on the book of my blog entries that I had printed at Blurb.com, as well as my reviews of two different types of re-usable shopping bags that I have recently purchased online.

I'll be interested in seeing the post on the shopping bags. I recently bought 5 of the "green bags" in my local supermarket. They hold twice what a regular plastic grocery bag holds, and are way easier to carry--and washable! At $1 apiece, they are a bargain, and I will get a little back--2 cents per bag per shopping trip.

Congratulations! Let us know how the book is.

I'm thinking, I love PC, I use their stoneware a lot. I'm not sure I need anything, though. Let me think on it.

Mimi -- if you need something, just drop me an email, and I'll get your order/get you hooked up with my consultant. But, no pressure! :)

Congrats on winning. And I can hardly wait to see your blurb review. I've had them bookmarked for quite a while now. I want to preserve my blog, but at the same time, I'd be embarrassed seeing all my typos in print.

You know, I *did* have some typos in my book. But, I didn't really worry about it. I mean...if I had seen them, I would have fixed it. But, oh well.

They actually do have a spell check feature, but it was picking up SO many things that I simply didn't have the patience for using it.
