I also don't have many blog ideas lately. It seems I either have five in one day, or none for a week! We also don't like our science program this year, I have to get a new one! I actually became more committed to my church this week, but it would have been hard to become less committed, I wasn't involved in ministry up to this point! :-)

I love the heart shape post it notes but I am reluctant to use them as I am not wanting to run out of them, silly isn't it?

My toddler enjoys post-its. Sometimes they keep her busy long enough for big sis and I to get two lessons done. LOL

I hope you find a science program that you like. LA was my problem subject. I finally have exactly what I want, bits from here and pieces from there.

As for science, I've used Sonlight Science and Apologia Astronomy. I like them both. At the moment Sonlight is just easier to implement.

Okay, my kids aren't the only ones who love using all the Post-Its to decorate the house? Phew! We could buy stock in the things, honestly. But you're right, letting go and just enjoying their fun is great. My DH will even get in on it and hide notes around the house for people. Too sweet.

Science.. ahh, science. We love science at my house. This year we're using Exploring Creation with Land Animals of the 6th Day, Zoology 3. It is one of the ones by Jeannie Fulbright. I like that it works great as a read aloud for my crew, we gathered all teh experiment materials before the year began with the handy list in the front of the book, and it has notebooking assignments right in the book to give the kids.

Hi Angie! My name is Tamara, and I've been reading your blogs for a few weeks now. I just wanted to say that I think it's great that you let the kids put the orange stars up all over the house. I really believe that if we say yes more often to these simple, innocent things kids want to do, we'd get less resistance when we say no about other things... So props to you for letting your kids be kids!

*I don't have many blog ideas these days.
*I didn't like my science program this yaer, put it in the closet, and do nothing official as of now.
*I started saying "yes" to the kids more. Like to filling the sink up and playing with it again, digging out the insides of more pumpkins, etc.
*When Matt and I have a TV series on DVD, we stay up too late. 24 the Dexter are the last to do that to us.
